Senate deliberations on the 2011 budget online

In case you haven't heard, we can now watch the plenary sessions of the Senate of the Philippines streamed online. It is a big step towards more transparency in Philippine governance. In fact, they are now discussing the national budget (see the sched here) and you might want to see for yourself how senators grill cabinet secretaries on their budgets.

Knowledge Management in the Philippines

I got to sit in the policy appreciation course run by our office, the Development Academy of the Philippines or DAP. One of the lectures was on stakeholder analysis and the resource person was Dr. Serafin Talisayon.

Dr. Talisayon is a familiar name and I am sure I have come across his name as early as my days as a research assistant at the UP Law Center. He gave us a very lively lecture on how to do stakeholder analysis.

But what I was most happy about was the tidbits of knowledge management that he mentioned. He readily gave us his blog address, www.apintalisayon.wordpress.com where you can download wealth of information on knowledge management.

What he shared, I will also share to you. Let's learn KM.
