I feel leadership really is nothing but influence. With influence, you can move others to help you do great things. And yes, we all have heard about leadership by example, but a big part of the "influencing" is really done through speech. Through the spoken word, we get to relay our thoughts, our inner feelings, our dreams and aspirations to the person/s next to us.
I believe that we all have a purpose in life. By attaining it in our lifetime, we deliver our grand message, our piece, to the world. But are we prepared to deliver this message clearly and effectively? Did the years of schooling prepare us not only to read, write and compute, but also to speak with heart and conviction? Chances are we need more training in this aspect.
