I finally got the chance to visit Negoskwela at North Avenue corner Agham Road, Quezon City. From their bulletin boards, I learned that the livelihood and entrepreneurial learning center was founded by Eladio A. Guevarra on 19 May 1999.Negoskwela is really an offshoot of the Skill Power Institute which Mr. Guevarra established in Antipolo City sometime in 1987. The Institute is said to have pioneered tertiary computer education not only in Antipolo but also in nearby cities and municipalities. It offered various technical courses and has been accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Negoskwela kicks off were the Skill Power Institute leaves. The people behind it saw the need for short courses to cater to both the young and old, the jobless and unemployed. They started offering a broad range of courses, from arts and crafts, to food technology and culinary arts, to agriculture and aquatic courses, and many others.
When I went there, I found Negoskwela's facilities modest. And yet, there is no doubt in my mind that the center has been instrumental in spreading the gospel of entrepreneurship in the country. sana meron dto mga entrep people na cebu based na sana makapag offer nang mga livelihood,kasi paln ko sana mag set up nang ganitong ideas,sa na oobserved ko kasi mostly sa province area yung mga housewife aside sa pag aasikaso sa household chores nila,nakikita ko lang na nka tambay at walang ibang income na pumapasok dapat sa gnitong hirap nang buhay dapat meron din magawa yung mga mommies,hope maraming makapag comments na ma set up natin dito sa cebu ang ganitong livelihood projects,kasi dun sa manila lang maraming ganito at active sa gnito livelihood sa katunayan marami akong na attend na ibat ibang traning nung nag vacation ako sa manila.

hi po! meron din po bang office dito s nueva ecija? sana evry province meron kayong offices. di naman kasi lahat ng gustong matuto afford nila na sa mas malayo pa magtraining. di rin po lahat may matutuluyan sa manila. sana lang po meron kahit once a month lang. thanks..
